Washington, DC – Keith Ellison announced the following endorsements for DNC Chair:
- John Lewis, civil rights icon and Congressman from Georgia’s 5th Congressional District.
- Tulsi Gabbard, former DNC Vice-Chair and Congresswoman from Hawaii’s 2nd Congressional District tweeted: I support @keithellison for DNC Chair. Keith is our best choice for an open, transparent DNC. #DNCChair
Additionally, Martin Heinrich, the Senator from New Mexico, and Luis Gutierrez, the Congressman from Illinois’ 4th Congressional District released the following statements endorsing Keith Ellison for DNC Chair:
“I am proud to announce that I am endorsing Congressman Keith Ellison to be the next Chairman of the Democratic National Committee,” said Martin Heinrich. “He can bring new enthusiasm, organizational strength, and inclusiveness to the DNC. Additionally, his leadership will bring the voices of grassroots supporters from all walks of life to the table.
